HGSI’s TH-750-A series Free Core AC LVDT position sensors are ruggedized sensors used to monitor and track the linear motion or position of a target using LVDT Linear Variable Differential Transformer technology.
These sensors are ideal for use in industrial and laboratory applications including Laboratory R&D Materials Testing, Valve Position Sensing, & Factory Automation.
TH-750-A Series LVDTs consist of a coil body and separate core. The coil body is generally held stationary in a fixture and the core is mechanically coupled to the object under test using a core extension rod.
These rugged AC LVDTs are built without internal electronics, allowing them to withstand extreme operating conditions. As a result, an external signal conditioner is required for these sensors.
The hermetically sealed sensor housing is constructed of stainless steel and is resistant to dust, water and temperature. The coil windings are sealed using an epoxy potting compound providing excellent protection against shock and vibration.
Choose from the TH-750-A with an axial connector or the THR-750-A with a right angle connector TH-750-A Series LVDTs are available in measuring ranges from plus or minus 0.05 inches to 10 inches. HGSI offers a full line of compatible AC LVDT signal conditioners for use with these LVDT sensors.
