This is a stand-alone, tamper-proof, battery powered, device to sense & count impacts. The Impact Counter / Sensor is reset & enabled by using a special magnet held to the face of the counter, once the magnet is removed the counter can not be tampered with. When an impact event above the trigger threshold is detected the counter will increment by one. The total stays in the counter's memory until reset. The impact sensor can be placed either the X Y or Z axis providing accurate counts. The unit's sensor can be set for 3g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g, or 100g impacts. This rugged impact sensor is designed to survive in adverse conditions over long periods of time, re-setable, long battery life lowering cost of ownership. 

The unit is intended for high volume OEM applications (order quantity 100+ units) and is customizable to customer requirements for specific applications.
