How to change the DPG-SD series gauge High Temperature Alarm Set-Point value

This video reviews how to change the high temperature alarm setpoint value.

Once the gauge is powered on we are ready to begin the procedure.

Begin by pressing the GEAR key once (x1)

Next, using the up & right arrow keys, enter the programming code 0001

Once the code is in the display then press the GEAR key (x1)

The gauge is now in the programming mode

The display will read “AH1” Press the GEAR key once (1x).

Using the up & right arrow keys enter the temperature value at which you want the alarm to activate.

For this example, we will choose 500 degrees.

Once the chosen High Alarm set-point activate value is in the display press the GEAR key once (x1) to save the value in the microprocessor’s memory.

Next, press the UP ARROW KEY once (1x).

The display will read “AL1”. Press the GEAR key once (1x).

Using the up & right arrow keys to enter the temperature value at which you want the alarm to deactivate.

For this example, we will choose 400 degrees. Once the chosen High Alarm set-point deactivate value is in the display press the GEAR key once (x1) to save the value in the microprocessor’s memory. Press the UP arrow once (1x) until END is in the display window.

Then press the GEAR key once (x1) to exit the programming mode.

The gauge’s High Alarm now activates if the measured temperature value is greater than 500 degrees (2 SECOND PAUSE) & deactivates if the measured temperature value is less than 400 degrees.
